05 Intercalation Top-notch overseas institutions including University of Cambridge, Harvard Medical School, Columbia University, Queen Mary University of London, King’s College London, and The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine 140+ Students went on exchange in 20+ countries / regions 420+ Degrees earned (including intercalated degrees and master’s degrees) 490+ Academically, this was a very fruitful year. As part of my degree, I had to complete a research project, and I worked at the Cancer Research UK Scotland Institute under Professor Gareth Inman and Dr Michela Raponi, who have provided me with support and guidance along my research journey. I have also reached out to different surgeons, for example, Mr Saleh Okhovat and Ms Constantina Yiannakis, who have kindly allowed me to attach them for surgical operations. I also had the opportunity to observe a trans-oral robotic surgery. Leisure-wise, I had a lot of fun with my classmates, for example, celebrating after exams and going to a birthday party in a bar. I also made friends while hiking and a memorable experience was that my friend and I were interviewed by the Spanish National TV at the Pollok Country Park when we were interacting with the Highland Cattle. This Enrichment Year was certainly memorable and I tried to live it to the fullest.
