National • The following Faculty members were awarded the 2024 NSFC Excellent Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China: – Professor Liu Yang (Biomedical Sciences) for the project ‘染色質生物學和表觀遺傳調控’ (RMB2M). – Professor Wang Shoutang (Biomedical Sciences) for the project ‘神經免疫科學’ (RMB2M). • Professor Liu Kui (Obstetrics and Gynaecology, SClinMed) was granted RMB3M by the Science and Technology Innovation Committee of Shenzhen Municipality for the project ‘探索FDA藥物庫中刺激卵泡發育的藥物以 “老藥新用” 治療卵巢早衰及超齡不育―基礎與臨床相結合的研究’. • Professor Carmen Wong Chak-lui (Pathology, SClinMed) was awarded the 2024 NSFC National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars for the project ‘Exploration of the Immune Microenvironment and Novel Therapies in Steatotic Liver Cancer’ and was granted RMB4M.
