I am also happy to report that the Faculty, as a whole, has launched a new project that facilitates human contact and care for others among our students and all involved. On 7 April, the World Health Day, HKUMed launched a major community project with the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau and Care Teams. For one full year, our professors are giving health talks to the public, and our students and professionals are offering free health screenings in all 18 districts of Hong Kong, including for diabetes and stroke, eye health and children’s physical and mental health. This is a way to give back, in person, and help improve the community’s health and well-being. 8
