FEATURE+ HKUMed’s clinical departments and units have long operated with distinct expertise and autonomy, but the benefits of greater collaboration to amplify their impact had also become clear. With that in mind, the School of Clinical Medicine (SClinMed) was formed in 2022 to bring greater synergy and enhance their work. Professor Gilberto Leung Ka-kit, Senior Advisor (Teaching & Learning) and Tsang Wing-Hing Professor in Clinical Neuroscience, has been entrusted to take up its directorship from April 2025.
