This year’s forum covered three specialties: Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G), Orthopaedics & Traumatology (O&T), and Otorhinolaryngology. The forum began with a panel discussion featuring distinguished speakers Dr Chan Tsz-huen, Dr Chan Ying-kei and Dr Ngai Chi-man, who shared insights on the background, key considerations and training for these specialties. Initiated by alumnus Dr Kingsley Chan, the event drew nearly 250 attendees. The film highlights the challenges of living with spinal muscular atrophy, serving as a powerful reminder of the importance of empathy in healthcare. The producer and director also shared their creative journey to raise awareness and support for those with rare diseases. 醫學院與香港大學醫學院校友會於2025年9月28日合辦電影《無名指》私人放映會。是次活動由校友 陳厚毅醫生發起，近250人參與。電影呈現了脊髓性肌肉萎縮症患者面對的挑戰，並提醒同理心在醫 療護理中的重要性。監製與導演亦分享了創作歷程，期望提升大眾對罕見病患及照顧者的關注與支持。 28/09/2025 About 60 medical alumni and their families enjoyed a day trip to Shenzhen, where they visited Tencent Headquarters and the Qianhai Exhibition Center. The participants examined the latest innovations at Tencent HQ and heard from Dr Alex Ng, President of Tencent Healthcare, about the impact of AI on healthcare in Chinese Mainland. After a delicious lunch featuring Shunde cuisine, the group visited the Qianhai Exhibition Center, where they learned about Qianhai’s rapid rise as a hub for startups and innovation in the Greater Bay Area. 約60位醫科校友及家人參觀深圳騰訊總部和前海展示 廳。他們體驗了騰訊的創新技術，並聆聽騰訊健康總裁 吳文達博士分享人工智能對中國内地醫療系統的影響。 午飯後，團隊參觀前海展示廳，了解前海作為大灣區創 新樞紐的發展。 54
