Building on the successful HKU-Crick Symposium co-organised by HKUMed and the Francis Crick Institute in September 2023, which focused on stem cells and regenerative medicine, HKUMed has continued to deepen its collaboration with the Institute to explore new frontiers in biomedical research. 醫學院繼2023年9月與Francis Crick Institute合辦聚焦幹細胞與再生醫學的 研討會取得圓滿成功後，持續與該研究 所深化合作關係，共同開拓生物醫學研 究的新領域。 Strengthening Partnerships: HKUMed and the Francis Crick Institute Advance Biomedical Research 醫學院與Francis Crick Institute 深化合作 推進生物醫學研究 In August 2025, HKUMed continued its talent recruitment and global collaboration efforts through the '140 for 140 Global Recruitment Campaign’ and institutional visits in Toronto, Hamilton and New York City to connect with world-class scholars and talent. The delegation, led by Dean Professor Chak-sing Lau, also visited renowned institutions, including the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto, The Hospital for Sick Children, the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Sunnybrook Research Institute, the Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University, Weill Cornell Medicine at Cornell University, the School of Global Public Health at New York University, and the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University, to explore opportunities for deeper collaboration. 2025年8月，醫學院繼續透過「140 for 140全球人才招聘計劃」在多倫多、漢米爾頓及紐約市舉辦招聘 活動及進行訪問，積極連結世界級的學者和人才。院長劉澤星教授率領的代表團到訪多倫多大學、多倫 多病童醫院、瑪嘉烈公主癌症中心、森尼布魯克研究所、麥克馬斯特大學健康科學學院、康奈爾大學威 爾康奈爾醫學院、紐約大學全球公共衞生學院及哥倫比亞大學梅爾曼公共衞生學院等著名學府及機構， 探討深化合作的機會。 Talent Quest and Network Building 人才招攬與網絡建設 HKUMed is enhancing the support for MBBS students to maximise their Enrichment Year (EY) by continually adding new partners and options. For example, over 30 students will have the opportunity to study at University College London (UCL) during their 2025/26 EY. Additionally, the University of Leeds and the University of Nottingham will also offer more intercalated master's programmes.
