On 28 October 2025, HKUMed held the Dedication Ceremony for the establishment of Tam Wing Fan Medical Development Fund (the Fund), commemorated by a plaque unveiling officiated by Mrs May Tam, Professor Xiang Zhang, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Chak-sing Lau, VicePresident & Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Health) and Dean of Medicine, and Professor Yang Wang, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Institutional Advancement). Established in 2024 through Mrs May Tam’s transformative HK$200 million gift, the Fund represents a bold investment in the future of medicine. It is dedicated to advancing cutting-edge research, accelerating translational applications, and improving access to healthcare.
