Colleagues and their families celebrated National Day on 1 October with a cultural tour to Sha Tau Kok and Lai Chi Wo. They explored the restricted area of Sha Tau Kok and were captivated by its unique blend of traditional Chinese culture and the city’s historic charm. Afterwards, they took a ferry to Lai Chi Wo, where they enjoyed a Hakka-style lunch. After the meal, they took in the village's beautiful ecological scenery before concluding the trip and returning. 為慶祝10月1日國慶日，同事與家人一 同參加了沙頭角及荔枝窩文化之旅。大 家探索了沙頭角禁區，沉浸於其中國傳 統文化與香港歷史風貌的交融之中。隨 後，眾人乘搭街渡前往荔枝窩，品嚐了 客家風味午餐。午餐後，大家欣賞了村 莊優美的自然生態景致，直至行程結束。 A HKUMed delegation, led by Dean Lau and other senior academic leaders, recently travelled to Toronto and New York City for global professoriate recruitment and institutional visits.
