STUDENT ACTIVITIES 學生活動 People 人物 27/09/2025 MBBS White Coat Ceremony and Pin Presentation for MBBS (Distinguished MedScholar) Students MBBS白袍禮暨傑出醫科學人徽章頒授儀式 The MBBS White Coat Ceremony and MBBS-DMS Pin Presentation Ceremony were held on HKU campus. The white coat symbolises the students’ formal entry into the medical profession, while the DMS pin recognises and celebrates the perseverance and dedication they demonstrated in their studies. Surrounded by faculty and family, the students were encouraged to uphold the highest ethical standards on their path to becoming future doctors. MBBS白袍禮暨傑出醫科學人徽章頒授儀式於港大校園舉行。白袍象徵學生 正式踏入醫學專業；而傑出醫科學人徽章則肯定他們在學業中展現的堅持與 熱誠。在師長和家人的見證下，學生們獲勉勵不忘初心、恪守最高道德標準， 持續邁步向前，成為心懷理想、貢獻社會的未來醫者。 HKUMed co-hosted a talk titled ‘Compassion in Medicine and Humanitarian Assistance’ with the GX Foundation, a partner of its Enrichment Year programme. Mr Leung Chun-ying, Chairman of the GX Foundation and Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, shared insights as the keynote speaker. He emphasised the importance of on-ground presence for effective humanitarian work. Medical students also shared their inspiring experiences interning with the Foundation, highlighting how it broadened their perspectives on global public health and reinforced their commitment to compassionate care. 醫學院與其「增潤學年」合作夥伴共享基金會合辦了一場主題為「醫者仁心及人 道救援」的講座。全國政協副主席、共享基金會主席梁振英先生作為主講嘉賓 分享見解，強調親赴現場對有效進行人道救援工作的重要性。醫科生亦分享了 在基金會實習的寶貴經歷，這些經驗拓寬了他們對環球公共衞生的認知，並堅 定了他們實踐醫者仁心的承諾。 A farewell party was held to honour the Madam S H Ho Residence for Medical Students, which has served as a home to generations of medical students for over 30 years. The residence will be demolished to make way for the construction of a new Clinical Training and Amenities Centre.
